Man, this turn out so well its now going to be an annual event! - Robert Windsor

Theres no doubt about it... Holding a bike event is a tough business! You never quite know whats going to happen, whos going to show up or how its going to turn out... When I heard from Bob Wolfe about the NORTH MEETS SOUTH event at Robert Windsors shop in New Church, I knew it would be a good one! Robert has hosted many biker groups at his shops before, and always pulls out all the stops to make everyone feel welcome!

Bob and Robert have been good friends for years, and they had talked many times about having a joint event. This year, they checked the calendar and came up with May 26th, the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. What a great time! Its not the holiday, Rolling Thunder is on Sunday and I for one was looking for something easy and close to home. The plan was to have a group meet up at Twin Irons Saturday morning and ride down to New Church. SE and I met up with them on the bypass and had a great ride down.

The event featured an informal Bike Show, all you can eat pig roast, Bob and Robert showing off thier latest bikes, MD ABATE, Dave and a few others vending and as always some great friends! SE and I had an awesome time laying back in the sun, meeting up with old friends and just enjoying the day. This really is one of the better kinds of events, lots of friends, not overly crowded and a great day. New Church is a very nice ride down 13 and its always a blast riding in formation with friends!

Cycle Creations is located on Rt 13, just south of the MD / VA border in New Church VA. The shop there is run by Robert Windsor, a supporter of delmarvabikers.com since its start and good friend to boot! The shop has a resturant run by Roberts wife as well as a small convience store. Robert is well known on delmarva as a bike builder, painter and general maintence. Be sure to stop in and say hello when you are down his way!

Twin Iron Customs is situated on Rt 50 just North / West of Easton. The shop is just across from the Easton airport. Bob Wolfe and crew are well known Bike Builders on the shore and very active in ABATE and the general Biker Scene. Be sure to check him and his latest creations out at any of the local bike shows or events. Bobs shop specializes in "Customs from Mild to Wild". Thier latest projact involves a custom Yamaha build from the ground up! Keep an eye out, this one is gonna fool ALOT of people!
