What better way to bring in 2007?!?! Rockin’ with the D.H.B.*Dave Henry Band* at the Broken Oar in Ocean City, Maryland. Wins and I headed out early to Ocean City. After we settled into the hotel, we went for a bite to eat. Croc’s is a cool little sports bar. With good food and very cold beer! After filling our bellies, we went back to the hotel for some hot tub and swimming pool fun. Nothing like swimming in December.

Soon we were on our way to the New Year’s festivities. Wins and I made a quick trip to Scottie’s. A cool bar, with friendly folk, in Fenwick. We will have to go back when we have more time and a designated driver..LOL So, we went back to the hotel, parked the car and went to the bus stop. Thanks to the Mayor of Ocean City and other officials. Buses were running, like every ten minutes until 4a.m. So, it is in my opinion. To anyone caught drinking and driving New Years in Ocean City. Shame on you!!

We got to the Broken Oar early. That is always a fun time. Hanging out and talking with everyone before the party starts. Soon though the band was playing and the fun was starting. The D.H.B. really puts on a great show. I love the music they play and they will play almost any song asked for. A real crowd pleaser for sure. The D.H.B. gets the people dancing early and has them yelling *three more sets* at the end of the night…HeHe. To the ladies of the band, you gals are great!! I had a good time hanging out and dancing.

I can’t wait until the next party. Of course, I must comment on the folks at the Broken Oar. At the risk of repeating myself, they really host a great party. Good food laid out buffet style, drinks flowing, champagne, party favors and the staff are great people. Everyone was having a good time. I know I was! I want everyone who worked 12/31 to know. Your great attitudes while dealing with us *adults on the loose with a designated driver* was great! Thanks for the fun and the good time. Oh, and to the owner/owners of the Broken Oar. The place looks great. The wall paintings are awesome!! For sure, New Years at the Broken Oar with the D.H.B. was a great time. I do believe Winslow will agree. (Editors Note: YOU BETCHA!)

***I would like to add. The bus ride back to the hotel was a lot of fun. If by chance any of them are reading. I want to say thank you to our patient bus driver. And to the two officers riding with us, your spirits and attitudes were awesome!!

***Happy New Year to everyone. Ride safe!!
