I was thinking...don't do it much but occationally it happens... I think we (the members of this site) should get together at bike week and hang for a couple hours and do some drinks or something...all of us go somewhere, maybe Traders or Oasis or some "off the wall place"...BON does it...why not us...?...give us chance to meet each other and hang out and be more than names on the computer screen...what do ya think...?
Im certainly in! I tried this a couple of years ago, but I think maybe my timing was bad - i shot for Saturday afternoon. Thinking Friday night or maybe Sunday day may be better times, as I always say - try not to compete with other events.
I'll just throw this out there for discussion. My group this year and just about everyone I know leaves on Saturday. Why? I don't know. However, we (and those I know) also take off from work, which I realize isn't an option for a lot of people. Given that, if I go (and I'm really hoping I do), we're going Wednesday to Saturday. I have no idea where Oasis or Traders are but it would be cool to meet some of the people here. I met some cool riders from the XL Forum a couple of years ago. We met at Smokers BBQ
For the record... I spend most of bikeweek down at the Atlantic Hotel Parking lot. Its just too much fun hanging out there with the bands, burnout pit and tons of people. You will DEFFINATELY find me there Friday and Saturday night.
Traders would be the place if it were my vote!!!! Great idea, considering the following of this site we should have a HUMONGOUS party!! Would really be great to be able to meet more people in my area with the same interests.
I do most of my hangin at the Atlantic too... mostly at night when the pits are burning...but wherever is fine with me...
I'm the newb here but would certainly like to meet some more local people.Â
No clue on anyones thoughts but my brother run's Gully's (a bar in Salisbury, where the Bottle Factory used to be next to Giant). I am sure he would be more than willing to host something there or even some bike nights in general.

We are open to anything! If everyone would be interested a monthly bike night can happen. We normally have a big college crowd Friday and Saturday nights while they are in school but can easily make something happen. Just let me know if people are interested, we have great wings and always have cold beers!
