Its always fun heading over and meeting someone new in the biker business, and Roy of Eastern Shore Cycle was no different... Eastern Shore Cycle is located in Secretary, MD just on the outskirts of town... ESC is a very friendly open place, with lots of room to sit and BS while Roy works on the bikes. They even have a little lounge area set up right there next to one of the bays! When I arrived, there was Russell and several other guys shooting the breeze and winding down from a long day... Just the perfect atmosphere for talking bikes!

The back of ESC is a complete service area with lifts, tools and just about any part you could name! Seriously, I bet you could name just about any year of Harley and a certain part and you would have a pretty dam good chance that Roy has it! Ok, Im sure someone can come up with something he doesnt have, but that is seriously the impression you get looking around...

While I was there, Roy was working on a clients 2003 Harley. Between Roy and the owner, they had picked out some new handle bars and they took alot of care in making sure that they were set just the way the owner wanted them... Its that kind of attention to the smaller details that sets apart the better bike builders! Some shops would say, ok, here ya go and slap the bars on any old way they fit, but thats not the case with ESC...

Roy also carries some pretty interesting stock... Everything from Biker themed signs to knick knacks to saddle bags! The front area of the shop is a display area for his wares, and its an excellent bet for finding a gift for that hard to buy for biker. A partial listing of thier Affiliations:

When I asked Roy what he considered his specialty and liked best doing, he didnt hesitate at all... UPGRADES! If you are looking to add some chrome to your ride, get some good advice on upgrades, or that hard to find part, Roy and Eastern Shore Cycle is an awesome bet! One very cool thing that they seem to do alot of is swapping parts in and out... Whenever someone upgrades a part on thier ride, Roy sets the old part aside... Never know when someone might need that part and at a great price too!
