| Lisa at Federalsburg VFW in June.
It was raining, a yellow car pulled out in front of me and just stopped... : Sweet Emotion on her accident.
Friday October 20th at about 10:30 am, Lisa had just dropped her daughter off at school and was on her way home. She was driving a Dodge Neon belonging to her other daughter. It was a rainy day here on Delmarva and the roads were somewhat slick. As she came to the corner at Reliance Market, a small yellow car pulled out directly into her lane and came to a full stop. Lisa immediately locked the brakes up on the Neon. As she slid, she somehow managed to hit an SUV head on.
Luckily, her injuries are not life threatening. In addition to a few cracked ribs and general overall soreness, she now has a cut to her head and one to her right elbow. The one on her elbow is somewhat serious and the cause of her extended hospital stay. The doctors have told her that the bone in her elbow suffered a chip and there is some concern about infection. At last report, she is expected to be discharged Monday the 23rd, but that is subject to doctor approval and may be changed.
Please join me in wishing Sweet Emotion a swift and painless recovery! Please feel free to post well wishes on the board here or at her MySpace Page.
